Transmigrated as the Yandere Top’s Fluffball chapter 3

A+ A-

“What, what’s this! Why is it still the same!”

Soft- fluffy- squishy- moist-

Pink jelly proudly stood out between the beige fur.

Juan touched one front paw with the other…… no, not hand, but paw.

As expected, it felt as soft and fluffy as it looked, which was quite nice…… wait, no!

“I’ve really turned into a cat! Wait, but why am I even talking?!”

Darkness clouded his vision.

A cat, out of nowhere, and a talking cat at that.

What on earth was happening?

If something remotely plausible had occurred, he would have been flustered or shocked.

But since this was literally impossible, he wasn’t even surprised.

He was simply overwhelmed trying to figure out how this could be possible and what he was supposed to do next.

“By the way, where am I?”

Juan looked around with discontented eyes.

He thought he’d at least be at the accident scene, but instead, he was dropped in an unfamiliar place.

And…… the scenery was a bit strange.

Though it was dark all around, Juan, with a cat’s eyesight, could see well even in the darkness.

So, he could clearly make out the shapes of the buildings.

Behind him stood a massive castle wall, and the buildings in front looked straight out of medieval Europe.

He couldn’t pinpoint the exact era, but one thing was certain: these buildings were completely different from modern South Korea.

At this point, turning into a cat became a secondary concern.

After all, he had been dropped into an unknown world.

The unknown always brings anxiety.

Juan swallowed dryly in fear as he looked around.

Terrified, his tail drooped downward, his pupils dilated fully, and his ear tips folded down to level with the top of his head.

“Where the heck am I…….?”

What kind of situation was this, something straight out of a fantasy novel?

Waking up to find himself dropped into a strange world.

And…… as a cat, no less.

Even in the novels Juan enjoyed reading, characters would possess extras in the story or become villains in another world.

At least they were human.

Not possessed as a cat.

Anyway, there was no sense of reality at all.

“Ah, ouch…….?”

Juan, who had tried to move to look around, stopped short.

Just extending a paw made his whole body ache as if it were breaking apart.

He wasn’t sure exactly where he was hurt, but it seemed this body was that of an injured cat.

“No way…… I haven’t entered the body of a dead cat, have I…….?”

An ominous thought crossed his mind.

Juan collapsed with a sigh, hoping against hope that wasn’t the case.

He wanted to go somewhere and figure out where he was, but the pain made it impossible to move. Nothing was going his way.

“My lord……! Can’t you slow down a bit?”

“No.”

At that moment, human voices reached his ears.

Juan looked toward the sound with startled eyes.

Two people were approaching from a distance.

If he had human hearing, he wouldn’t have heard them from so far away.

But since he was a cat now, their conversation came through clearly.

At the word ‘lord,’ Juan’s ears perked up before flattening again in caution.

He didn’t know what kind of world this was, but generally, a lord was someone of high status.

If this were a novel’s world, they’d likely be the protagonist or someone of equal importance.

Even if it wasn’t, a lord was still a significant figure.

Juan debated whether meeting this person would be good or bad.

Should he run and hide right now, or approach them?

He couldn’t decide.

Then, with a sigh, he gave up.

There was no reason for him to approach the lord, nor for the lord to approach him.

After all, Juan was just a cat now, not a human.

Why would someone as important as a lord care about a stray cat?

Besides, with his body aching, it seemed fine to just stay put without moving.

“Gasp, my lord! Wait a moment! There’s a cat here.”

However, Juan’s thoughts were quickly proven wrong.

The man following the one in front spotted Juan and started running toward him from afar.

Instinctively feeling threatened, Juan tried to hurry away.

But after stumbling just a couple of steps, he ended up collapsing.

“Good heavens, my lord! The cat seems to be injured!”

The man called out to the lord in a voice that sounded almost tearful.

Though his appearance resembled that of a bandit, seeing him nearly cry over an injured cat suggested he wasn’t a bad person.

But in the end, he’d probably show some concern and then move on, just like most people do with stray cats.

“Hey, kitty, are you okay?”

“…….”

“Does it hurt so much you can’t even cry?”

Well…… that’s not it.

“Meow.”

After some thought, Juan let out a sound as cat-like as possible.

Truthfully, he could speak human words just fine, but the idea of a grown man imitating a cat’s meow was so embarrassing that he hadn’t made a sound.

But since the man seemed so worried, Juan meowed as if doing him a favor.

Needless to say, no matter what world this was, a talking cat wouldn’t be a common sight.

If he wasn’t careful, he might be captured as a talking cat and subjected to research or experiments.

Of course, that was the worst-case scenario.

Still, there was nothing good about revealing he could speak human language.

“Elton, you’re trying to pick up another cat, aren’t you?”

The man called the lord spoke indifferently.

He was a man with hair and eyes as black as the night sky. His smooth, porcelain-white skin seemed almost unreal.

Moreover, his prominent brow bone and sharp nose bridge indicated he was no ordinary person.

No matter what novel this world belonged to, with a face like that, he’d at least be the protagonist or the villain boss.

Juan thought as much while swallowing dryly.

If someone like Elton was following such a figure, he must be quite important too.

And if Juan was being picked up by someone like that…… well, it didn’t seem like such a bad thing.

“Gasp, no! The cat I rescued last week has ringworm, a contagious skin disease, so I can’t take in another cat.”

“Then let’s go.”

“So, my lord, could you take it in instead?”

What?!

This was completely unexpected. Juan looked back and forth between Elton and the lord in shock.

The lord, equally dumbfounded, furrowed his brow.

“Have you lost your mind?”

“But, my lord, there are plenty of empty rooms at the lord’s estate. I’ll take full responsibility. Once my cat at home recovers from ringworm, I’ll take this one in, or find an adopter in the meantime. So, just for a little while…….”

“Sigh, you’re really being a nuisance.”

At Elton’s tearful plea, the lord sighed. He then looked down at Juan with cold, dry eyes. Juan’s beige face reflected in those pitch-black pupils.

“Elton, you’re responsible for it.”

“Gasp, of course! Thank you!”

Finally, permission was granted. Elton carefully picked Juan up in his arms.

Before Juan even had time to be flustered by the sudden turn of events, he had been picked up by the lord.

The next day, morning.

A big problem arose. And by that, I mean a really big problem.

Juan had been picked up by the lord and Elton and brought to an enormous mansion.

At the time, he didn’t know where it was and just assumed it was the lord’s estate.

But it didn’t take long for him to find out exactly where he had been brought.

It was because he overheard the servants mentioning ‘Duke Abrams’ this and that.

With his sharp hearing, he caught every word as they passed by.

“So, this is Duke Abrams’ estate…….?”

Alone in an empty room, Juan muttered to himself. He, too, knew who ‘Duke Abrams’ was. To be precise, it was Duke Leonard Abrams.

As an omnivorous reader, Juan had once unknowingly read a hardcore BL novel called [Black Prison], and the protagonist of that novel was none other than ‘Duke Leonard Abrams.’
